SmartX is a software development company in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. We build web and mobile apps, CRM/ERP systems and AI solutions for businesses, and we develop our own product, the HR-ONE platform. We're looking for a QA Engineer to join our team. You'll make sure our products reach clients stable and bug-free, from requirements review to release.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing requirements and specifications, writing test cases and checklists
- Functional, regression and smoke testing of web and mobile apps (iOS, Android)
- API testing with Postman or similar tools
- Filing clear, reproducible bug reports in Jira (or another tracker) and following them through to the fix
- Working closely with the project manager, developers and business analysts
- Working in short sprints and checking quality before demos every two weeks
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA / software testing
- Knowledge of test design techniques (boundary values, equivalence classes, etc.)
- API testing with Postman; understanding of REST and JSON
- Browser DevTools and basic SQL (for data checks)
- Ability to work through a task independently and ask questions early
- Uzbek and Russian; English good enough to read technical docs
- Nice to have: test automation experience (Playwright, Selenium or Cypress), understanding of CI/CD
